Activity & To-Do List

InSched provides two views for tracking pending tasks: the Activity List (a read-only log of all activities) and the To-Do List (an interactive workflow tool for managing and completing tasks).

Activity List

The Activity List provides a read-only view of all activities across patients.

Accessing the Activity List

Select View > Activity List from the menu.

Activity Grid

The grid displays activities with columns including:

Date CompletedWhen the activity was finished

Additional system fields track the patient, plan, event, provider, assigned resource, action group, and other metadata.

To-Do List

The To-Do List is the primary tool for staff to manage their daily and weekly action items.

Accessing the To-Do List

Select View > To Do List from the menu.

Filtering

The To-Do List provides extensive filtering to focus on relevant tasks:

Date Range

Select a preset range or choose custom dates:

  • This Week / Last Week / Today / This Month / Last Month / Manual Select
  • Date From and Date To pickers for manual selection

Sort Order

Choose how tasks are organized:

  • Date | Patient
  • Patient | Date
  • Action | Patient
  • Stage | Patient

Staff Filters

Filter by staff involvement (each has a "Show All" option):

Check Include Complete to show finished tasks alongside pending ones.

Working with Tasks

The To-Do grid shows tasks with key information:

Completing Tasks

  1. Open the To-Do List
  2. Filter to find your pending tasks
  3. Check the New Complete checkbox for each task you've finished
  4. Click Save or press F3 to save your changes

Editing Patient Information

Right-click a task row and select Edit Patient and Plan to open the patient record directly from the To-Do List.
