Quotes and Invoices

InSched provides tools for creating patient quotes (cost estimates) and invoices, commonly used in cosmetic surgery practices where patients pay out-of-pocket for elective procedures.

Quotes / Cost Estimates

The Quote dialog allows you to create itemized cost estimates for patients considering treatment.

Quote Line Items

Each quote contains line items with:

Field	Description
Item	Description of the service or product
Quantity	Number of units
Unit Price	Price per unit
Total	Calculated total (Quantity x Unit Price)
Type	Category of the line item
Tax	Whether sales tax applies
Inventory	Whether the item is tracked in inventory
Lot/Serial	Tracking numbers for inventory items
Discount Group	Discount category for this item
Sales Tax	Calculated tax amount
Plan	Associated treatment plan

Invoices

Invoices are generated from quotes or created directly for services rendered. Invoice line items can be customized to control what appears on the printed invoice.
