Birthday & Newsletter Emails
Birthday emails
PatientConnection can automatically send each patient a birthday email on their birthday, using a message template your practice provides (per language, if you serve patients in more than one). Each patient receives at most one birthday message per year, sends are held to reasonable daytime hours, and opt-outs and undeliverable addresses are honored automatically.
Birthday greetings are sent by email only — they are not texted.
Newsletter / news emails
Practices can also send periodic news emails — a newsletter, seasonal specials, or practice announcements — on a schedule. Like every patient-facing email, news messages carry an opt-out link, and patients who opt out of this kind of message (or all email) are excluded automatically.
Both are configured for your practice by IntelliPract support, and every message sent is logged in Recent Communications.
Bulk text-message campaigns ("SMS blasts") are not offered — carrier regulations for medical practices effectively prohibit them. Text messaging is reserved for individual conversations and appointment reminders.
