Email Schedule Export

InSched can automatically email schedule reports on a configured schedule. This is useful for sending daily schedules to providers, staff, or external parties.

Accessing Email Export Setup

Select Setup > Setup Email Export from the menu.

Configuration

Each email export definition specifies what to send, when to send it, and who receives it. You can create multiple export definitions using the navigator at the top of the dialog.

Report Selection

Report DescriptionSelect the report type from the dropdown
FormatOutput format (Text or HTML)

Date Range

FieldDescription
Days BeforeNumber of days before the export date to include
Days AfterNumber of days after the export date to include

Schedule

  • Day checkboxes (Sunday through Saturday) — Which days to send this export
  • Export Time — Time of day to send
  • Disabled — Check to suspend this export without deleting it

Event Filters

Click the buttons to select which events to include:

  • Event Types — Select specific event types
  • Locations — Select specific locations
  • Resources — Select specific resources

Content Options

Email Recipients

SMTP Configuration

The dialog shows the current SMTP configuration status. Click SMTP Setup to configure email server settings, or Test SMTP Connection to verify the configuration.

Managing Multiple Exports

Use the navigator at the top of the dialog to browse, add, and delete export definitions:

Testing

Click Send Email to manually trigger the current export definition, useful for testing the configuration before relying on the automatic schedule.
