Provider Classes
Provider classes group providers (physicians, nurses, coordinators) for billing purposes. When generating claims, the provider class determines which billing identifiers and rates to use.
Accessing Provider Classes
Select Setup > Edit Provider Classes from the menu.
Managing Provider Classes
The dialog displays a simple grid of provider class names:

Adding a Provider Class
Click the Click here to add a new Account row at the bottom of the grid, or use the Insert button in the navigator. Enter the class name and press Enter or use Post to save.
Editing a Provider Class
Click on a class name in the grid to edit it, then use Post to save changes.
Deleting a Provider Class
Select a class and use the Delete button in the navigator.

Usage
Provider classes are referenced in:
- Billing IDs — Billing identifiers can be limited to specific provider classes
- Insurance claims — The provider class determines which NPI and taxonomy codes are used on claims
- Reports — Financial reports can be filtered by provider class
